The History and Team of Sax Machine

Your Saxophone Specialist in Paris Since 1978

A Passion for Saxophones Since 1978

Sax Machine is a human-scale workshop-boutique, born from a passion passed down from mother to daughter. Founded in Paris by Marianne d'Ursin, the first woman in France to dedicate herself to wind instrument repair, the adventure continues today with her daughter Lauren, surrounded by a close-knit and passionate team. Over the years, Sax Machine has become a benchmark for saxophonists, from beginners to experienced players, in France... and beyond! It is a welcoming place, entirely dedicated to the saxophone, where every instrument has its own story — and becomes a small part of ours.

Founded just steps from Adolphe Sax’s former workshops, the shop carries on that tradition today in a new setting, with the same family feel and welcoming spirit.
